Our Founder

Lorraine Lee - Founder

Lorraine Lee

NorthStar Data Privacy was founded by Lorraine Lee. In her previous role as Chief Privacy Officer at International SOS, an MNC in 90 countries, Lorraine built the Global Privacy Team and took their privacy programme to maturity. 

A dual UK and Singapore-qualified lawyer with more than 20 years’ track record, she is passionate about finding practical, innovative solutions on data privacy matters. Her journey in data privacy started with preparing the International SOS Group to be “GDPR ready”.

• Strategic vision and planning of Data Privacy and how data can flow optimally for a multi-jurisdiction organisation
• Understanding Cross-Border Challenges in Data Privacy (currently 167 data privacy laws and 127 countries have regulations on AI)
• Navigating the US, the EU, UK and China as an MNC
• Building a privacy programme
• Moving from compliance to “privacy by design”
